I have been practicing psychology for over 10 years and have my doctorate degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Licensed School Psychologist.

I have experience treating a large range of issues but the primary reasons people come to see me are depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties.  I can help you to understand underlying issues and to make changes in your life that bring you more balance and fulfillment. We can work short or long term, insight or solution-focused, depending on your needs.  I am able to use many approaches to help you achieve your goals including behavioral, cognitive behavioral, existential, interpersonal, family systems, and psychodynamic.

I work with individuals, couples, and families.  I can help to improve communication and change patterns.  Often people become stuck in their ways of functioning and I can help you to find and sustain new ways of being in the world.  I can see children as young as pre-teens and can see parents of children of all ages to work on parenting issues and behavior management.

I welcome LGBT clients.  I am a sex positive therapist and can discuss a range of issues related to sexuality, orientation, and identity.  I have experience working with some transgender teenagers.  I have also worked with some young adults with Asperger's Disorder.
